Welcome to EuropeanAdventures.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the booking of our tours and services. By accessing our website or booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Introduction
EuropeanAdventures.com (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides guided tours and related services in Rome, Italy. These terms create a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “the client”) and European Adventures.
2. Booking and Payments
2.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after we have received full payment and you have received a booking confirmation email from us. It is your responsibility to check the confirmation email and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
2.2 Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking for all tours and services. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website. All prices are listed in Euros (€) unless otherwise specified and include any applicable local taxes.
2.3 Secure Payments
We use a secure third-party payment processor to handle all transactions. Your credit card and payment information are encrypted and processed securely. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible.
3.1 Cancellation by You
To cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing via email. The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 7 days before the tour date: A 90% refund will be issued. A 10% administration fee is retained.
- Between 3 and 7 days before the tour date: A 50% refund will be issued.
- Less than 72 hours before the tour date: No refund will be provided.
No-shows are treated as last-minute cancellations and are not eligible for a refund.
3.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, site closures, or situations that may compromise the safety of our clients or guides. In the event we cancel a tour, you will be offered the choice of:
- A full refund of all money paid.
- Rescheduling the tour for another available date.
We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not in-limitation to, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights.
3.3 Changes to Bookings
If you wish to change the date or time of your tour, please contact us at least 7 days in advance. All change requests are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate your request.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Punctuality
Our tours operate on a strict schedule. You are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point at the specified time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee you will be able to join the tour, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
4.2 Health and Mobility
Our tours may involve a significant amount of walking, standing, and navigating uneven surfaces or stairs. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit to participate. Please inform us at the time of booking of any physical limitations, disabilities, or health conditions that may affect your participation. While we will do our best to accommodate special needs, we cannot be held responsible if you are unable to complete a tour due to physical limitations.
4.3 Conduct
You are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards our guides and fellow tour participants. We reserve the right to remove any person from a tour who is behaving in a disruptive, disrespectful, or dangerous manner. No refund will be issued in such cases.
4.4 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip. This insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal belongings, and other unforeseen events.
5. Limitation of Liability
European Adventures acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide services on our tours. All tours and services are subject to the terms and conditions of these suppliers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, European Adventures, its employees, and its agents shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. You are solely responsible for your belongings at all times.
6. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of EuropeanAdventures.com and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site without our prior written permission.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The date of the most recent revision will be posted at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Rome, Italy.
